Terms of Service
Welcome to PichaPrint. These terms govern your use of our website and our service for designing, ordering, and receiving printed photo books. By using PichaPrint, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
PichaPrint lets you design a photo book in your browser and order a printed copy delivered to you. You can design a book without an account; an account or your contact and delivery details are required to place an order.
2. Your content
The photos and text you add are yours. You keep all rights to them. You grant PichaPrint a limited licence to store, process, and print your content solely to create and deliver your order — for example, generating a print file and sharing it with our print and delivery partners. We do not use your photos for advertising or any other purpose without your permission.
You confirm you have the right to use the photos you upload, and that your content is lawful and does not infringe anyone else's rights.
3. Orders, pricing & payment
Prices are shown before you pay and may change over time, but the price you confirm at checkout is the price for that order. We accept M-Pesa and card payments. An order is confirmed once payment is received. Because each book is custom-printed for you, please review your design carefully — the preview reflects what will be printed.
4. Delivery
We print and bind in Nairobi and deliver across Kenya. Estimated delivery times are guidance, not a guarantee, and may vary by location and courier.
5. Returns & refunds
As books are personalised and made to order, they generally cannot be returned. If your book arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from your approved design, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will reprint or refund it.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use PichaPrint to create or order content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, or that depicts the exploitation of others. We may decline or cancel any order that breaches these terms.
7. Liability
We work hard to deliver beautiful books, but to the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and handle your data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
Your design content— the photos and text you add to a book. While you're designing, drafts are saved on your own device (in your browser) so you can come back later; they are uploaded to us only when you place an order or choose to save to an account.
Account & order details — your name, email, phone number, and delivery address, so we can fulfil and deliver your order and contact you about it.
Payment — payments are processed by our payment providers (such as M-Pesa and card processors). We do not store full card details.
How we use it
To create your book, fulfil and deliver your order, provide support, and keep you updated about your order. We share only what's necessary with our print partner, delivery courier, and payment provider to complete your order.
Storage & retention
We keep your order content and details for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymise them. Device-saved drafts stay on your device until you clear them or start a new book.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to stop using it, subject to any legal obligations we have to keep records. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
